Sometimes a gown takes over our studio – this dramatic late Victorian dress did! First, we created a light orange underskirt with black detailing, 12 cascading ruffles. Ribbon loops give the wearer the option to shorten the skirt train. Then, we created the dress itself, with its striped fabric gathered into a slender bodice, black bust cups, and a long ruched skirt of pure drama ending in a pleated ruffle.
